OfA, OCS name 2009 Artist Development Fellowships
The Office for the Arts at Harvard (OfA) and Office of Career Services (OCS) are pleased to announce the 2009 recipients of the Artist Development Fellowship (ADF). This program supports the artistic development of students demonstrating unusual accomplishment and/or evidence of significant artistic promise. The ADF program represents Harvard’s deep commitment to arts practice on campus and provides financial support for the creative and professional growth of student artists.

Hasty Pudding donates $10K to Cambridge Public Schools
For the sixth year in a row, the Hasty Pudding Theatricals presented a check for $10,000 to the Cambridge Public Schools (CPS) for the promotion of arts education. Since its inception in 2002, the Hasty Pudding Theatricals Fund for Cultural Enrichment has subsidized tickets for thousands of Cambridge students to attend theatrical performances, cultural events, and museum exhibitions. To date, Hasty Pudding has donated more than $70,000.

On the most superstitious day of the year, James Franco got lucky.
With his roguish grin and trademark James Dean looks, the actor appeared stunned but happy during his Friday the 13th roast as Hasty Pudding Theatricals' Man of the Year, rubbing his Pudding Pot and declaring, "Now I've made it."
